I Was Watching A Bird…

 

   I was watching a bird,
   pecking the grass
   spread vastly green;
   Open…

   What if I was the bird, I thought?
   Or was I indeed one, only
   confined to my car,
   parked before the very field,
   teasing me!

   The bird was free to fly
   in any direction, any moment,
   and I would have had to smash the car’s window
   if fancied to join the bird, or
   I’d use the car’s door
   if I were any ‘’wiser’’!

   - - and then what?

   Try to imitate the bird using my tired arms?!

Who would’ve had a doubt that this man,

Who for years presented the BBC, a pressman

Pretended to represent human, but he-man

Jimmy Savile, not a man, he was a sham.

Please be you patient, dear victims

You shouldn’t have suffered, amiss systems!

One can only imagine, why you did not talk!

Jimmy Savile has now gone, with his shameful rhythms

Having met
Having kissed -- and
slept,
Which one, can you guess? – and boy
Do I regret?

The answer is
A simple NO

Moments of time -- and
All were mine,
And hers
Ours

Why be silly and regret?
When can simply forget!
Ever met
All set
Wrapped in velvet
Got wet!
And performed octet.
