I Don’t Wanna Say . . .

I  Don’t  Wanna  Say . . .

I don’t wanna say I love you
Scared you might say "I love you too”

I don’t wanna say I care for you
Scared you might say "I do too”

I don’t wanna say I think of you
Scared you might say "it’s not just you”

I don’t wanna say I long for you
Scared you might say "I want you”

You’re Maybe The Angel I Seek!

You’re  Maybe  The  Angel  I  Seek!

Knowing    you  for    a  while

Seeing  some  of  your    smile

Heart    races,  and  beats  in  style

Would  you    show    me  your    Nile?

You’re  maybe  the  angel  I  seek!

Or  just  a  memory,    for  me    to    keep.

Now I Wish, I Could Hold You…

To my whisperer

Never thought would it come to this, with You
Not even a touch; yet a passion tardily grew

Never saw any chance, and not even an ounce
Yet inside, a flame and fire began to brew

As I tried fold away the new page written daily
Then I realised what I had lost found it, in you

The rule of honesty prescribes, hence I will confess
I care and I declare, I am mesmerised by your hairdo

Dark hours turn bright, chasing off the night’s sleep
As I await and anticipate, till to see the morning dew

Remains in the mind your image, night and all day long
And I feel you, believe me dear, it is indeed true

Now I wish, I could hold you, here, there and everywhere
Sorry that I am not granting, a straight clue

An old man I may now seem, think of aged rich wine
The most wise men agree, age is only an old taboo

Become accustomed to thee, and thy way of thinking
The ultimate bliss and finery, a gift, a life anew

I Was Watching A Bird…

   I was watching a bird,
   pecking the grass
   spread vastly green;
   Open…

What if I was the bird, I thought?
Or was I indeed one, only
   confined to my car,
   parked before the very field,
   teasing me!

The bird was free to fly
   in any direction, any moment,
and I would have had to smash the car’s window
if fancied to join the bird, or
   I’d use the car’s door
   if I were any ‘’wiser’’!

   - - and then what?

Try to imitate the bird using my tired arms?!
